Some bloke with an American accent rang up claiming to be from BT saying there was an issue with my internet. I just said thanks for letting me know and hung up straight away!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Virgin Media. She said she wanted to help boost my broadband speed. When I mentioned VM had already fixed it last year and I didn’t need to use my laptop, she just hung up. Pretty sure this is a scam so don’t fall for anything they suggest.
