Somebody called claiming to be from Sky, my internet provider, but I’m not actually with them so I knew it was a dodgy call right away. They tried to convince me to give access to my computer using some EV code, then mentioned something about admin stuff. I spent about 10 minutes messing about, putting her on hold and pretending I couldn’t find my glasses before I gave up. Bet she’ll ring back again. The person said he was based in the UK but spoke with a heavy Indian accent - sounded like a typical scam call centre with loads of background noise.
