Got a call from this number earlier today. Some guy with an English name claimed to be from Microsoft saying there was an issue with my computer. Nope, I watch Scam Interceptors and could tell straight away it was a dodgy call. I was pretty direct with him and told him it was a scam.

Got a call from an Asian woman, maybe Indian, claiming to be from Virgin Media. She said there were loads of errors on my Wii. She wanted me to check my router and asked what kind of connection I use. Then she asked me to log into my laptop so she could point out the problems. I got a bad feeling about it and rang Virgin myself to make sure it wasn’t some kind of phishing scam.
