A rather persistent young chap rang me claiming to be from Microsoft. I attempted to express my disbelief, but he just wouldn't take the hint and kept going on! In the end, I had to hang up, utterly appalled by the whole encounter. Cheers, Glasgow.

I attempted to ring back, only to be met with a prerecorded message stating “number not recognized.” It’s obviously a masked number, and I would wager it’s likely some sort of scam.

I tried calling back but there was no sound on the line, then a message popped up saying the number I dialled wasn’t right.
