Rang me up purporting to be from BT, insisting that my internet was running sluggishly. I decided to humour him for a bit, asserting that everything was working brilliantly on my end. He then went on to say that while I might experience fast speeds occasionally, there were times it could drop off, and he needed to help rectify the situation. He asked if he could guide me through the process to fix it. At that point, I simply remarked that it reeked of a con, and he promptly ended the call.
