I got a call from someone claiming to be Sky, my supposed internet provider, but I’m not even with them, so I knew it was a dodgy call right away. They wanted me to enter some EV code to access my computer. When they said they were from admin, I just started messing about - put her on hold loads and pretended to search for my glasses for ages. After about 10 minutes of winding her up, I hung up. I reckon she might ring back though. She said he was calling from the UK but had an Indian accent, and it felt like I was dealing with a whole scam call centre.

My mum got a call from this number saying she had to approve a pricey Amazon order. It was one of those automated things and the line got all crackly towards the end. We had a look at her Amazon account and everything looked perfectly normal. Feels like a scam to me.
