Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, warning me about some dodgy activity on my broadband. The bloke was really hard to make out and mentioned sending a code via email. Didn’t even ask what was meant to be done with that code. I just blocked the number. Then I had a quick search and turns out the number’s actually registered to Virgin Media, so I reckon scammers must’ve taken over their line.
