Someone from Asia rang me claiming to be from BT Openreach. They said my internet got hacked and was being used for gambling and watching adult stuff, and that my Mac address had been altered to public. I got suspicious and hung up straight away. They tried ringing back about three more times before stopping. BT confirmed this was a scam and that they don’t contact customers like that.
