I got a call out the blue saying they were shutting down and wanted to give me back £199. They asked me to get on my computer, but when I asked them to tell me my name first, they started dodging the question. I told them there’s no way I’m stupid enough to let them hack into my computer, then I just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from some scam folks pretending to be from the "accounts team". They said they needed to access my computer to give me a refund of £249.99. Not falling for it!
