I requested the company address, and he provided one: Leicester House, Leicester Street, London SW19 4JS. However, upon searching online, I found that this postcode actually leads to Swan Court, 11 Worple Road, Wimbledon, London, where Domestic and General is indeed registered, among several other companies. Furthermore, he mentioned that a supervisor would reach out from London to assist me with the insurance process. To be frank, I'm sceptical about the legitimacy of this call. I'm registered with the TPS and don’t possess any appliance insurance, so I rather doubt the call's authenticity.
