Rang me up from what sounded like a chaotic office environment. The bloke had a thick accent and didn’t bother with any pleasantries, straightaway insisting he needed to chat with “the homeowner.” When I queried his identity, he persistently repeated his demand, claiming it was urgent - shame I wasn't a chap! I pressed him for more details about who he was and his reason for wanting to speak to the homeowner, but that seemed to set him off. He got quite irate before abruptly hanging up!

Received a call from an incredibly raucous workplace, the bloke on the other end had a thick accent. He dived straight in without even a courteous greeting, insisting he needed to speak “to the homeowner.” When I pressed him for his identity, he merely parroted back the same demand, claiming he was required to chat with him (humourously, it’s not a ‘him’ at all!). So, I requested his name once more and enquired about the reason behind his pressing need to converse with the homeowner, and wouldn't you know it, he completely flipped his lid and hung up!
