Got a call the other day from someone who didn’t mention which company they were calling from. They claimed there was an issue with my internet router. I asked for his name and he told me it was Aide Wood. Then he wanted me to turn on my computer so he could ‘take a look’. I found that odd - why would he need access to my computer anyway? I told him I didn’t have one, which seemed to annoy him. He asked again if I could switch it on, but I just said no and then he ended the call.
