At about 10.45 in the morning on the 7th of October 2017, I got a call from this number. The guy on the other end, sounded Indian, told me my internet was having issues. I just ended the call straight away.

Got two calls, one on the 9th of October and the other the day after. When the second call came through, I passed it over to my husband. He wasn't having any of it and called them out. Problem is, we don't even use BT! Unsurprisingly, they wanted us to get on the computer to ‘fix the issue’ or whatever. Not a chance at all!

Some idiot called saying there were internet issues or something about pests needing getting rid of! Total rubbish, we dont have any problems. So I just hung up and put them on block.

Got a call earlier today around 11:05 am, picked up and could hear loads of background noise like a call centre, but no one actually said anything. Ended up just hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

Somebody called saying they were from BT and that there was something wrong with my internet line. They wanted me to install Team Viewer so they could fix it remotely. I didn’t trust it one bit and just ended the call immediately.

Someone called saying they were from BT, saying our internet was getting hacked. The bloke had an Indian accent and was clearly in a call centre. I just listened for a moment before I ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with "BT tech support". Since we've had loads of calls like this in the past, I just ended it right there without saying more. No other info to give.

I didn’t answer since I’ve no one in Orpington and the number looked dodgy anyway. I get loads of calls like this, usually from someone with an Indian accent trying the old BT scam routine. I never bother calling back, even just to warn them the line is watched by Indian police, 'cause some of these numbers - though they look UK - might still charge you for an international call. It’s just not worth the hassle.

Got a call from someone who said they were with BT, but the voice sounded Indian and like it was coming from a call centre. They told me there was some strange activity on my internet and threatened to cut it off in an hour. I thought it was dodgy, so I just ended the call. They never tried ringing me again.

I got a call from 01689067530, some overseas call centre pretending to be BT. The woman on the phone had a really hard-to-understand accent and said the whole of Manchester was facing major internet issues. When I burst out laughing and asked why she was calling my area then, she just hung up straight away.

On 7th October 2017, a Saturday, around 11.10 in the morning, i picked up the phone after it rang about 4 or 5 times. i said hello but got nothing back. there was clear noise like a call centre in the background, so i just hung up and added the number to my block list.

Got a call from some dodgy number saying it was “international” on my phone. Answered for a sec then just ended it right away. Used call block on my phone to stop it from ringing again. Totally fake number, I reckon.

Missed a call from this number, but I was a bit wary to ring back, thought it might be some scam. I even tried dialing it with 141 before the number to hide my caller ID, but that option didn’t work. Ended up blocking the number just to be safe.
