Got a call from a woman with a strong Indian accent saying she was from my internet supplier. She told me there was a virus on my router and that since I’d recently switched from BT to TalkTalk, my router wasn’t protected. She didn’t give a company name, just kept insisting my internet and payments were at risk. I tried looking them up online but found nothing about them, which made me really wary. They also wanted info about my router, claiming TalkTalk wasn’t keeping it safe, which struck me as very fishy.
