This number rings me every couple of days, I usually let it go to voicemail. Today I finally picked up and there was nothing but silence. So I said, "Either talk or piss off." Then all I got back was a polite "yes sir" and "have a nice day." Weird call, honestly.

Got a message on my answerphone from someone saying they were from HMRE, saying I've got legal troubles or something. It was a woman speaking with an English accent but the way she spoke was all wrong - like, she used words and phrases no proper English person would say. Clearly a scam, probably just someone reading off a script written by someone who doesn't really speak English.

This number has been mine for about 14 years now, and today they called asking for a bloke. They wouldn’t stop pestering me to prove my identity even though they never properly said why they rang, which seemed a bit sketchy to me.
