on the bank holiday monday, i got three calls from someone claiming to be bt internet support about my connection, threatening to cut off my service if i didn’t chat with their engineers. no number to call back on either. i ignored it and my internet's still working fine. just now, bt themselves phoned me saying i missed a call warning about scammers trying to hack my line, and that i should wait for their engineer’s help to fix it. same woman’s voice too? what do these people actually want from me?
