I could hear quite a bit of background chatter, suggesting this was from a call centre. A chap with an accent that wasn't local inquired whether I was “Mr C…” (which happens to be my partner's last name). When I responded with a “No,” he had the audacity to ask how I was faring today. I told him that such information was private and absolutely none of his business. Remarkably, he then had the gall to chastise me for wasting his time and told me to “p*ss off” not once, but twice! Another number going straight onto the blocked list!

This is the third time they’ve rung on different numbers, including this one. A woman asked me for my name, but when I asked who it was, she just hung up. I could hear the background noise of a call centre, so I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of scam or spam call!
