Got a voicemail that claimed to be from Visa Secure about a suspicious £600 purchase online. The bloke on the recording was pretty convincing, telling me not to give out any details but mentioned I’d get a call from the bank’s fraud team within an hour. Sure enough, I shortly got a call from abroad which I just let go to voicemail. Meanwhile, I rang my bank myself and they said there were no transactions going through on my account.
