Got a call from some lady with an Asian accent on my 94-year-old father-in-law's phone. When I answered, she asked to speak with my mother-in-law. I told her that wasn't possible since she sadly passed away back in March, and then the line just went silent. Tried ringing the number back but it wouldn’t connect - no shock there at all.

They just said hi, asked what my name was, and as soon as I told them, they ended the call. Another scammer from India, I'm sure.

Got a call from someone about blocking calls, they started asking for my card info - total rip-off!

Somebody rang me saying they were from a call blocking company. They already had my landline number and even my home address, which freaked me out a bit. Then they started asking for my bill payment info and the expiry date on my credit card. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

It was about 1.05 in the afternoon on 30/11/18 when i picked up this same number, just like someone else said before, but the person on the other end just ended the call straight away!

this lady on the phone was really hard to make out. she told me she was from some "call blocking" group and promised i wouldnt get any more telemarketing calls. after that, she began asking about what card i use to pay my phone bills and that was the moment i just ended the call!

just got a call a couple of mins ago, picked up and the person on the other end immediately dropped the call. no clue who that was.

Sounds like a possible scam. They called saying I had debts with the tax office and then started pushing some call blocking service. Naturally, they asked for my bank info to ‘fix’ everything. I’ve blocked the number now. Wouldn’t trust it, feels like they’re after your bank details to steal from you.
