Every time I picked up, this number just rang again not long after and then cut off straight away! Really annoying how they kept calling over and over like that.

I kept getting calls from a number that was making this weird beep noise every few seconds. It rang a bunch of times before I finally answered, and after hearing two beeps, a woman said my name. But I’d already put the phone down by then. When I tried ringing back, a bloke answered with a thick Middle Eastern accent and sounded like he was shouting someone’s name before hanging up abruptly. The whole thing was only about 20 seconds long. Strange!
