Got a call from this number today, some Asian guy trying to tell me scary stuff about my broadband. As soon as I told him he was just trying to scam me, he cut the call straight away. Number was 01684772551.

I got a call on my home phone from a bloke claiming to be from BT, wanting to test my broadband speed. Since I’m not a BT customer, I was sure it was a scam right away. I played along for a bit just to mess with him. After he ended the call, loads of strangers started phoning me, saying I’d called them and asking who I was. I never rang any of them, so I reckon it’s connected to that dodgy call. This has happened about seven times so far. Be careful and block this number if it rings you! Cheers!

Got a call from this number earlier, a guy with an asian accent, but he hung up before I could catch what he wanted!

Got a call from a bloke who just muttered a few things I couldn’t catch, then hung up straight away - pretty sure it was some sort of scam or sales call.

Today, I received a rather fishy phone call from a lady who said she was from Sky. She prattled on about my broadband service, insisting that it was performing poorly. She then proceeded to suggest that she could remedy the situation, but only if I allowed her to access my computer. It was quite evident this was a scam. For what it's worth, she spoke with a strong Indian accent, which may or may not be relevant.

The phone line was really crackly, kinda like those busy call centres you get. I tried saying hello a few times but the call just got cut off. Honestly, felt like it might’ve been some sort of scam.

got a call saying its sky broadband checking cuz my internet was slow, the bloke said he was just doing a courtesy call. normally its some guy with an indian accent who starts asking loads of questions and then tells you he'll hook you up with another person to sort it out. I reckon it’s a con, they want to log into your computer from afar and take control or something.
