Got a dodgy call from some overseas call centre asking me to verify my name. I didn't answer, so they just dropped the call. Then, out of the blue, they rang back using another number but with the same area code. It all kicked off right after I phoned Virgin to switch my package. Since their call centre is based in India, these suspicious calls started coming through the very next day on my Virgin line. What's worse, this number’s supposed to be ex-directory and it's even listed with the TPS!
