Before I managed to block the number, they rang again and the guy was really rude, yelling down the phone. I told him straight if this was legit, they wouldn’t be treating customers like that at all.

Some bloke with an Asian accent rang me, said he was from some housing repair check place. He knew my name but couldn’t say where I lived or if I even rented or owned my flat. I told him I wasn’t falling for any scams, then ended the call and blocked him. Pretty sure he gave it another go yesterday.

Got a call about some home heating offer. I asked where they were actually located. They first said Liverpool, then mentioned the main office was in Birmingham. I then asked, "If that's the case, why am I getting a call from the Isle of Mull in Scotland?" He started with some dodgy story, but I cut him off, told him to stop calling, and ended the call.
