I’m based in Brittany, France and use Tesco mobile from the UK on my iPhone. Got a call at midday on 09/08/2020 from the Isle of Mull, Scotland, number 01680402037. I picked up thinking it was probably my relatives from Scotland. But the voice sounded Asian or Chinese and I couldn’t understand a word. Wouldn’t recommend answering this one.

They phoned me early in the morning around 8, but I missed the call. After seeing the reviews here, I've decided to block the number straight away.

At about 8 in the morning, this number 01680 402037 tried ringing me. I didn't pick up and just ignored it, but later looked up the number here - turns out it's a scam. I gave them a ring back out of curiosity and the call cut off after only a few seconds with loads of weird noise in the background. Felt like a total waste of time!

Spent a good quarter of an hour chatting to them, throwing out a fake postcode just for laughs since it was clear they were scammers. They've now been blocked, but guess what? They’ve tried ringing me up 4 times since!

Total scam, don’t bother picking up if this number pops up. Make sure to let your mates and family around you know that this dodgy caller is hitting your postcode and to steer clear of answering.

Got three calls in just a few hours from what sounded like a call centre abroad. The first couple of times, they claimed to be from U-Switch. I told them I’m on the TPS list, so I shouldn’t be getting these kinds of calls, but they just ended the call straight away. When they rang the third time, I chose not to answer and put them straight on block. Honestly, it felt like they were just pestering me nonstop.

Got a call on my phone from Isle of Mull and just left it ringing. The next time I did pick up, they just ended the call straight away. Nowadays, any number I don’t recognise gets blocked right away. If it’s something important, they’ll leave a voicemail. Best to not get nosy - just don’t pick up and block the caller.
