8 yearsGot a call earlier saying they were from British Telecom claiming my internet would be disconnected in 10 days. I told them I don't even have internet, but they insisted I did. When I asked for their number, they quickly came up with 1013455311, which seemed totally made up. I also asked where they were calling from, and they said London, but honestly, it didn't sound like they were. I told them alright, you’ve given me all the info I need, thanks, and ended the call. These dodgy calls just don’t sit right with me.British TelecomLondon8 yearsReceived a call from this number claiming to be British Telecom and warning me that my internet service would be disrupted in ten days. I’m quite wary of such calls, so I questioned why they were contacting me, given that I don't even have internet service. The caller insisted that I do, which made me even more suspicious. To press him on the matter, I asked for the number he was ringing from. He hesitated and eventually rattled off 0103455311, but when I queried its origin, he casually mentioned it was based in London. Quite dubious, to say the least!British TelecomLondon8 yearsReceived a few calls today from someone saying they work for BT and that there's an issue with my computer. Today, at about 8:20am, they rang again claiming to be BT engineers saying my internet would be disconnected within a day. I said my husband actually works for BT as an engineer and they instantly ended the call. It's pretty annoying, though I guess some might fall for it.8 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying my computer was being hacked and used for dodgy stuff.
