Some bloke called himself “Michael” - but there’s no way someone with his accent would be named Michael, surely - ringing up saying he was from Amazon’s Security team. He asked if I’d ordered something for £700, even though he clearly had no clue who I was. Not sure what sort of scam or dodgy thing he was trying, but it was definitely either a bit naff or just plain irritating, probably better labelled as dodgy altogether. I just hung up straight away, didn’t want to waste any more of my time on that nonsense.
