I received a call from this number yesterday, but they quickly disconnected when I picked up. Quite odd, really. Just a moment ago, I had a similar experience with another number - 01242 577724. They rang, but it was yet another case of no one at the other end. Very peculiar indeed!

I got a call about sorting out my call preferences and they asked if I still pay my BT bill via direct debit. Then they wanted me to confirm which card I use for payments. I wasn’t comfortable sharing that info so I said no, and then they warned me I'd keep getting telemarketing calls if I didn’t cooperate. The caller sounded Indian and said they were calling from somewhere near Bedale, by Middlesbrough. I just hung up and made sure to block the number using BT Call Protect.

I got a call on my office landline the other day and it turned out to be someone trying to sell me a service I didn't ask for. Honestly, it was a bit of a hassle because I was busy, and these calls seem to come at the worst times. I wish there was a better way to screen this stuff since it’s my business number and I don’t wanna be wasting time dealing with random telemarketers.
