I received a rather suspicious call from someone purporting to be from Google, insisting that my computer had been compromised. Having dealt with similar situations before, I'm well aware that neither Google nor Microsoft engages in unsolicited calls. As soon as I mentioned this fact, he abruptly hung up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Today, the 16th of June 2021, I had a call come through at 10:21am. It only rang once, and the number popped up on my phone screen which instantly seemed suspicious. I didn't get any voicemail or message from it.
