This was clearly a scam, right from the start it was a recorded message with really rubbish sound quality. The person on the phone claimed to be from HMRC, saying I owed them money. Then they threatened that there was a warrant out for my arrest and told me to press ‘1’ to speak to someone in charge of my case. Honestly, don’t press any buttons, just hang up straight away.
