Had some guy call me with a really strong American accent, and you could hear loads of chatter from a call centre behind him. He kicked off by saying ‘good afternoon’ even though it was only about 10:30 in the morning. Then he started asking if I was having a good afternoon, which was a bit strange given the time. After that, he mentioned something about Online Trading and asked if I was familiar with it. When I said I thought it was just trading online, he didn’t seem too happy with that answer. I quickly told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
