Got a call from someone saying they were with the Coventry Housing Disrepair Team and dealing with Housing Associations. But when I asked them which company they worked for, they just hung up on me.

I got a call from someone in Coventry who was talking really quickly and loudly, firing loads of questions at me. He wanted to know my age, if I owned my home, how many cars I had, and even how much I’d spent on my washing machine. Then he started offering insurance, chances to win a holiday, and asking if I wanted to donate to charities. The bloke just kept ramping up the volume and speed until I couldn’t make out a word. When I shouted back to ask what the call was about, he just hung up on me!
