About the comment a couple below, there is a way to fix this but you’ve got to buy one of those call blocking devices. They basically stop your phone from ringing unless the caller’s on your allowed list. Sadly, companies like BT just pretend to care about annoying calls until the law makes them sort it properly. On the bright side, they do have some pretty good call blockers for sale!

I keep gettin calls from some robotic woman saying it's from 'amazon prime' or somethin, usually every day and the numbers keep changing. It's clearly a scam, but some folks might fall for it. I ain't got prime or use this phone for any online stuff! Like others have mentioned, shouldn't there be some kind of tech that just blocks these straight away? I've blocked international calls before but now they're using or faking regular local numbers - so frustrating!

This phone number is an absolute con! I received a call claiming to be from Amazon, stating that they were initiating a subscription for Prime. They instructed me to press #1 to cancel, which led to a dodgy situation. I was lured into downloading Teamviewer, an application that grants them access to my screen, under the guise of helping to process a refund. As it turns out, they could see my entire bank account, including my login details and balance. The conversation dragged on, becoming increasingly convoluted. In the end, the scammer asked me to input a ‘block’ number, which shockingly turned out to be my actual balance! If I had proceeded any further, I could have jeopardised my savings. Exercise extreme caution, everyone!

I get called every day around 9 in the morning on my ex-directory landline by this same number. It's some automated lady with a sort of American accent talking about Amazon Prime, but I know it’s dodgy, so I just hang up straight away. The annoying thing is I’ve reached the limit on how many numbers I can block on my phone. The number apparently comes from Coleshill or somewhere like that, which makes me wonder why BT can't just shut it down. I’m based in Dorchester, Dorset, but it’s not even on that map you showed, so I guess these calls are just thrown out at random.

Today around 12:50 I got a call despite having a call blocker set up on my phone. Some weird automated voice, sounding like a foreign robot, told me to press 1 and all that rubbish. Then, a person with an Asian accent said maybe I’d set it up by accident and claimed a direct debit was taken on 20.1.20. I told them I check my bank all the time and there’s nothing like that. I had something sent to my mum’s place through Amazon, but the day after the parcel arrived, she started getting calls from this number saying they were from AMAZON. Got a voicemail from an unfamiliar number claiming to be Amazon about Prime stuff. Don’t hit 1 or anything - it’s definitely a scam. Just ignored it.

Someone claiming to be from Amazon keeps phoning me, sometimes up to five times a day, even as early as 7:45 in the morning. I’ve never signed up for Amazon Prime or anything like that, so I just ignore the calls, but it’s really annoying.

Got a robotic voice warning me my internet was about to be cut off due to some kind of illegal stuff. I ended the call straight away - definitely scam!

Got a call like this earlier, where they said I missed something important from my internet company and to press 1 to talk to someone. Totally automatic, sounded dodgy to me so straight on the blacklist. My broadband provider defo wouldn’t contact me like that.
