I received a rather dubious call today, claiming that a payment had been made to Amazon from my bank account, along with an alleged transfer of funds to an offshore account. The caller prompted me to press 1 to either verify or cancel these supposed transactions. I suspect this is a scam! I’ve scoured my transaction history and found no evidence of any such activity.

Got a call claiming there were two transactions on my card. Hung up straight away! Total scam.

Got a dodgy automated call today, claimed to be from some 'bank security team'. It said there was a weird transaction and asked me to press 1 to talk to someone or 2 to confirm a couple of payments - £300 to Amazon and like £1100 to some foreign group. What gave it away for me was that they never mentioned which bank they were from. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me!
