So, this morning at around 10:21, I got a ring from this number. I didn’t answer since I don’t pick up unknown numbers usually. After a moment, there was a message saying it was HMRC. The message accused me of fraud and said they were opening a case. They told me to press 1 to speak with the officer handling it. I didn’t do that and the call ended on its own. It’s pretty clear this is a scam because HMRC wouldn’t call like that at all.
