Received a call from someone insisting on enhancing our internet service. The person was quite hard to comprehend, though. I ended up telling them that our internet connection is perfectly alright as it is.

At first, I got an automated message from BT saying my broadband and phone would be cut off and that £300 would be taken from my account. It asked me to stay on the line to chat to one of their reps. After a brief pause, a lady with an American accent came on and asked how I was doing. I said I was fine until she called. I told her she ought to find a real job instead of trying to con people out of their money. She just hung up on me. I've had calls like this before but from other numbers, this one was a new trick.

picked up and as soon as i spoke they hung up. sounds like one of those robo calls.
