Some bloke with an Asian accent rang claiming to be from BT, telling me there was an issue with my computer. I played along since I actually use Sky as my provider. He then tried to get me to let him have remote access to my PC. When I asked if he wanted the password, he said yes, so I just shouted at him to 'GET LOST' and then hung up. No idea what he was playing at after that.

for almost two months now this number has been pestering me, usually i let my voicemail handle it quietly. but this morning at about 8.45 i actually picked up since it was their second call, the first coming around 7.35. i reckon i pissed off the person on the other end because i ended up swearing quite a bit and they just hung up on me. idiots!

Some bloke called me saying he was from British Telecom, my internet provider supposedly. But that’s daft, I’m in Kingston upon Hull, and we use KCOM here, which is our own local phone network. BT don’t serve this area at all. The guy, who had an Asian accent, got it all mixed up! Pretty clear it was a scam, so I told him to jog on before hanging up.
