Someone rang me claiming to be from Virgin Media, warning that my internet would be cut off in an hour unless I sorted it then and there. I asked them for their name and the account number they were referring to, but they said they couldn’t share that because it was private. I told them my details were private too and that I’d get in touch with Virgin Media myself to check. After that, they just hung up. Definitely not a genuine Virgin Media call - total scam.
