Typical bank scam trying to scare me - they claimed £300 was taken out for Amazon and £1000 for some overseas transfer from my account. I didn’t go along with it, but once I hung up, I tried calling back the number they showed. Strange thing is, the number seemed local, but when I looked it up, it wasn’t actually a real one around here.

Could it be that scammers are now using phone codes from where you live to make the call seem more legit? Seems sneaky if so!
