This is the first occasion we've managed to identify the number. The call usually comes through about 8:30, just like what the person who posted the third comment mentioned. When you pick up, it's just an automated voice saying goodbye.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, told me my wifi was being hacked and that's why it's slow. I just said everything was fine and then he just ended the call on me.

I got a call from someone saying they were with Openreach and that there was an issue with my internet. When I questioned him, he just hung up on me. Such a dodgy call!

Watch out, every time I pick up, it’s just an automated message saying goodbye. Pretty annoying!

Somebody pretending to be BT Openreach phoned me four times in one day. They said there was something wrong with my router and asked me to type in a code on my computer to sort it out, but we weren’t having any issues at all. By the time they called a fourth time, they even ended up swearing at my wife. Proper scam.
