The number showed up with my usual local area code, so I picked up. It was one of those automated messages claiming to be from ‘Bank Security’ - never said which bank though - telling me there were two transactions on my account. I’ve gotten this kind of call loads of times from different numbers, so I just ended it straight away without pressing anything. What’s new is this time the number actually had my own local code.
