I received a call recently.

I received a call from a chap with a distinct Liverpool accent who asked for me directly. He claimed to be ringing from 'MTA', stating that I’d reported a car accident a while back. This is complete nonsense, as I hadn’t made any such report! I was actually holding out for an important call, or else I would have ignored him entirely.
