I got a call from HomeLogic offering a "free Loft Survey". When the surveyor came round, he didn’t even bother going into my loft properly but still said I needed insulation because of damp in my bathroom - which was a bit odd. Then he dropped a massive price on me, about £8,400! I almost lost it. After that, he phoned his manager trying to knock the price down. Next thing, I was getting pushed hard to accept a reduced offer of £2,000. I told them I straight up couldn’t afford that and the surveyor was quite rude about it, making it hard to get him off my property. Definitely avoid these people. Feels like one of those old double glazing scams. He couldn’t even answer simple questions about my roof. I checked online and saw loads of bad reviews, plus other firms will do the job for way less cash. Buyer beware!

So this lot rang me offering a “free” loft survey, right? But when the bloke came round to take a look, he turned out to be a salesman and just wouldn’t take a hint to leave. Proper pushy with the sales tactics. And honestly, their prices were way too high. I’ve had enough of the incessant calls from this number. No matter how many times I inform them that I’m not interested, they persist in ringing me. It makes one wonder how these firms manage to obtain your mobile digits in the first place! It’s an absolute pain, to be honest. They ought to face stricter regulations preventing them from accessing our landline or mobile numbers.

They keep calling non stop even though I've explained my other half is in the insulation business and our home’s insulation is way better than average. They claim the old stuff is dangerous and needs taking out, which I reckon is total nonsense. When I made it clear I didn’t want to hear any sales pitches, he went on to ask if I was signed up with the TPS. Seems like they don’t even bother verifying that, so I wouldn’t trust them one bit.
