I ignored the call and later checked my answering machine to find a brief silence recorded. I’m not familiar with anyone from around Morpeth, so I reckon it was probably just a scam call.

As soon as i picked up the phone, the call just dropped - favourite auto dial scam move when no one’s there. I’ve gotten about six calls today alone claiming they’re sorting out my internet. Total rubbish, just a lot of scams trying their luck.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from AOL. I know AOL never does cold calls, so it was definitely a scam. Avoid it.
