this number keeps ringing twice a day for almost a week now but i never pick up. they always hang up and never leave a voicemail either. its really annoying!

Somebody rang me pretending to be from the government about a debt I supposedly owed. When I asked them more questions, they got all dodgy and wouldn’t say where they found my details or exactly who I was meant to owe. They kept mentioning stuff like IVA and bundling debts together. I called them out saying the government don’t ring people out of the blue like that. Once I said that, they just ended the call. Luckily, I know quite a bit about IVAs and debt advice so I wasn’t falling for it.
