Got loads of calls from some automated voice with an American accent claiming my IP address was hacked and my internet would get cut off in a day. They told me to press 1 for tech support. When I did, the ‘tech help’ told me to switch on my computer and press the Windows key plus R - same nonsense I’ve heard before from so-called ‘Microsoft’ calls saying my PC was infected. I just ended the call straight away.
