So, I got a call from someone with an accent somewhere in Central Europe. They claimed my IP address was “compromised” and that they’d fix it themselves. Felt like a classic scam right from the start. As is typical, when I didn’t play along, the caller nearly hung up immediately. But before hanging up, he put me through to another person, with the same accent, who also said they were from BT. Pretty certain it was just a scam attempt that didn’t go anywhere.
