I had a call from a chap speaking with an Indian accent, claiming to be from BT. He went on about how I was a treasured customer and that they were getting reports of my router allegedly pulling down dubious files. He kept insisting I switch on my computer-which, obviously, raised my suspicions! I thought I’d waste his time and keep him talking for as long as I could in hopes it would rack up some costs on their end. Just like those old-school ‘Microsoft’ cons, really!
