They didn’t mention what company they were with. The caller claimed there was a strange charge of £300 from my bank account and some international transfer for about £1100. They said if I wanted to stop it, I had to answer right away. I didn’t bother. I’ve heard about this sorta scam going around where folks get a call about a £300 payment on their Amazon, then another £1000 for a phone, and they want to talk to you to stop it. Seems like the same scam to me.
