Got a call this morning around half past eight from a dodgy number, seemed like one of those scam calls for sure. We've had loads of them recently, so I picked up but didn't say a word. There was complete silence then the call just dropped straight away. Pretty obvious they were using some kind of auto dial system that disconnects when it hears someone talking. Really fed up with these scammers pestering folks here and targeting the vulnerable. Honestly, what are BT and the government even doing to stop this? I've reported these pests to Action Fraud.
