Got a call be telling my 74 year old mum that she was with BT and that her phone would get cut off if she didn’t hand over her card info. My mum, who’s not one to be fooled, just told them they could go ahead and switch it off 'cos she’s with Virgin anyway 😂. It’s mad tho, some of the older folks out there might actually believe this rubbish. These scammers are proper pests.

I got calls from this number twice. The second time, the person promised I wouldn’t get more annoying calls and claimed my number would block anyone except the people I wanted to hear from. Seriously, how on earth does he know who’s on my preferred contacts? Then he started asking for my card details and expiry date. I wasn’t having any of it and told him straight to buzz off.

The other day I got a call from Benefits UK. When the woman said she was from Benefits, I told her I didn’t trust it and asked her to take me off their call list. Instead of agreeing, she actually told me she wouldn’t and that she’d keep ringing me every day, annoying me. Since then, they’ve called me loads of times from different numbers!

These folks are like a proper nuisance, spreading annoying calls with a bunch of fake phone numbers that don’t even exist. It’s baffling why they keep at it though, maybe they’re just on some rubbish minimum wage or something? Either way, it’s like an endless flood of pointless calls.

I've been getting calls from Benefits UK non stop, probably about 40 times now. They ring a bunch over a week or two, then stop for a bit before starting up again. Every time I block one of their numbers it doesn't seem to make a difference since they always switch to a new one. Now I just wait till I hear "Benefits UK" and smash the hang-up button straight away. There's not much else to do but honestly, it's super annoying.

Looks like these idiots are using this number now. They’ve got a couple more too. Same old story, pretending to be from some benefits dept. I just stayed silent and let the bloke go on and on until he finally hung up. Ended up leaving the call after about 15 mins. This is the fourth time they've called me.
